handmade artisan caramels from Good Karmal

Over the holidays I received the sweetest little christmas present. It was really a by-product of a co-worker asking me for advice on his client gifts for the year and then sharing. And share did he. These are handmade certified kosher artisanal caramels that are. so. 100%. delicious. AND super cute. You know how much I appreciate thoughtful packaging.

Created by Patty Triplett West, Good Karmal is a line of artisanal custom caramels that come wrapped in little nuggets of wisdom, like a fortune cookie… but way better, and sans tacky lotto numbers. They make great custom client gifts and party favors as they can be personalized with a company logo and contact info etc… I was impressed and touched to receive something so thoughtful and unique among a sea of Ferrero Rocher balls, calendar magnets, and Zagat mailers. Kudos for thinking outside the box and going the extra mile to personalize a potentially trite and worn-out custom of office holiday gifts. Not including handmade ornaments of course… but not everyone crafts?

custom contact info and branding on each caramelIf you’re looking for unique client gifts or party/wedding favors I’d definitely check out Good Karmal. With so many options to choose from it’d be hard to go wrong. And as a testament to their deliciousness, mine came in a box with ¬†seven different caramels and I have yet to finish them. The hand-holding-man-friend and I pick one to split as dessert every time we cook at my house. That sea-salt caramel is out of this world. And if you don’t take MY word for it? Good Karmal made Oprah’s venerable FAVORITE THINGS list, so boom.

*** I wasn’t paid or perked for this post. Just wanted to share a good thing when it lands on my desk. Literally. ***
