in None, Queens, Work

You guys! I wasn’t going to blog today because I’m busy being all of the administrative assistant I can be (Happy Secretary’s Administrative Professional Day p.s.), and have to visit my chiropractor over lunch, but these photos are too great not to share! How amazing are these?!?!!? I shared the photo last night I came across on Why Leave Astoria, but this morning I woke up and one of my WONDERFUL blog readers had shared the whole article with me. Just amazing.

You know, on a personal note, I just love the Internet. I work for an entire company full of people who barely know my name after a year and a half, let alone remember where I live or what I do. But YOU internet, you are truly special. The level of sharing between Twitter and Facebook and this blog has created a sense of community that I have NEVER felt before ever. And I grew up in a small town where everyone did know your name, and your brother’s name, and your mothers name, and most of your business. But you Internet, you are truly my people and I frickin heart you for that.

P.S. Check out these links here and here, to more archive pages shared with me by the Queens Library!

P.P.S. Things are picking up over on the blog’s Facebook page, go like it and stay in the loop! Hugs.
